Instinct Art Gallery says

Develop your senses-- especially learn how to see.

Science and art rely on the same basic principles: Observation, creative inquiry, and experimentation. The perceptive observer is the essence of both. And yet science and art typically have separate domains that feel and look very different. This exhibit presents art that is expressed with a direct link to the science that enabled it, and art that includes expressions of science.

The telescope is an observational tool. As a title, Telescope references both the principle of observation and the tools that artists use to observe, transform, and document their subject matter.
