Minnesota Interfaith Power & Light says
The Gandhi Mahal Interfaith Garden is ready to grow again this season! This is our first gathering, with many more opportunities to join us to explore the connections between food justice, faith, and climate change.

You're invited to the garden on Friday, May 12th anytime between 11 am and 7 pm. If it's raining, we'll move it back a day and see you between the same times on Saturday, May 13th.

What to expect:
- Planting seeds & seedlings
- Building raised beds
- Hearing mini-talks on regenerative agriculture, permaculture design applications for our site, & how to build healthy soils
- Cooking up a compost pile at a short class taught by one of our volunteers (starts at 4:30 pm)
- Installing a mycoremediation patch (mushrooms!) to clean up a patch of icky urban soil.
- Cleaning out the chicken coop in preparation for new animals friends joining our backyard ecosystem this summer.

What to bring:
- Potluck item (we don't have refrigeration, so please bring something that can be out on a table in the shade). Extra points if you bring a dish made with something you grew yourself!
- Water bottle, sunscreen, & garden gloves if you have 'em
- Your friends, family members, and/or kids
- Musical instrument and your willingness to play solo or with other musicians while we plant!
