The Winona La Duke Chronicles says
Join Birchbark Books for an evening with Winona LaDuke in celebration of her new book The Winona LaDuke Chronicles: Stories from the Front Lines in the Battle for Environmental Justice. A major work, Chronicles is a collection of current, pressing and inspirational stories of Indigenous communities from the Canadian subarctic to the heart of Dine Bii Kaya, Navajo Nation—a tribute to those who have passed on and those yet to arrive.

Winona LaDuke is a rural development economist and author, known globally as a leader in cultural-based sustainable development, renewable energy, and food systems. As Executive Director of Honor the Earth, she works nationally and internationally on the issues of climate change, renewable energy, and environmental justice alongside Indigenous communities. In her own community, she is the founder of the White Earth Land Recovery Project, one of the largest reservation-based non-profit organizations in the country, and Native Harvest, producing gourmet quality natural foods made and harvested on Treaty lands in Minnesota

Winona will be signing books, available for purchase at the event. This is an evening not to be missed!
