Martha’s Therapeutic Yoga classes are based in the Integrative Yoga Therapy system, and in her classes you will work on learning & growing through asana (physical postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), mudras (energetic hand-placements), and meditation.
Therapeutic yoga can help support healing on all levels of your being – physical, energetic, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual. Through the practice of physical postures we will create core strength and flexibility; through breathing techniques we will encourage stress reduction and general well-being; and through mudras and meditation we will encourage healing at all levels of our being.
The tools we’ll use in yoga therapeutics to unite mind, body, and spirit through movement & breath can be found in many different cultures around the world - come connect with your own practice for health!
