Come one, come all! It's the most wonderful time of the year again: AWP season!

Please join us for an evening filled with reading, cake, and Nathan Poole's gorgeous novella, "Pathkiller as the Holy Ghost" chosen by Benjamin Percy for the 2014 Quarterly West Novella Contest!

Also featured will be the amazing Lily Hoang , upcoming judge of the 2015 Novella Contest!

We will be joined by Saltfront contributors Jen Lambert and Natalie Young!


Collaborators include Saltfront and Western Humanities Review!

Nathan Poole’s debut story collection, "Father Brother Keeper” was awarded the 2013 Mary McCarthy Prize. He is a recipient of the Narrative Prize, a Milton Fellowship, and a Joan Beebe Teaching Fellowship. He is from Columbia, South Carolina, and teaches in the undergraduate writing program at Warren Wilson College.

Lily Hoang is the author of four books, including Changing, recipient of a PEN Open Books Award. With Joshua Maria Wilkinson, she edited the anthology The Force of What's Possible: Writers on the Avant-Garde and Accessibility. She teaches in the MFA program at New Mexico State University, where she is Associate Department Head. She serves as Prose Editor at Puerto del Sol and Non-Fiction Editor at Drunken Boat.

Jen Lambert is a founding editor of burntdistrict and Spark Wheel Press, and her own work has been published in a variety of journals and anthologies including most recently Saltfront, Sugar House Review, and Tahoma Literary Review. Jen lives and works in Omaha. jenlambert.net

Natalie Young is founding editor and graphic designer for the poetry magazine Sugar House Review. Her work has been published in Rattle, Tampa Review, South Dakota Review, Los Angeles Times, Green Mountains Review, terrain.org and others. She is a fan of avocados and Tom Selleck.
