Traffic Zone Center for the Arts says
Join Traffic Zone Center for the Arts for a milestone celebration marking 20 years of the long-standing professional arts cooperative’s presence in the North Loop. This special edition of Traffic Zone’s seasonal open studio event will include Dan Israel, singer/songwriter performing in the first floor gallery from 6:00-8:00 pm.

Spend the evening wandering this historic multi-level building, which houses the studios of over 20 professional Minnesota artists and get a glimpse into the personal spaces where these creatives shape their vision. Work on display includes mediums such as drawing, installation, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture.

In the first floor gallery, an exhibition featuring photographic portraits by Victor Bloomfield will be on view. In this series, Bloomfield has captured each of the 24 artist members of the TZCA cooperative. The color photographs, taken in the artists' studios, show them in the context of their creative environments. This series was created to both show the variety of milieus in which visual artists produce their work and to document this important community of artists at a significant milestone in their history.
