Triple Feature W/ Amarie Castillo, Earl Elliot And Ellie Hino & Casey Nelson says
In the tradition of the Three Amigos, the Hudson Brothers and Larry, Moe and Curly and/or Shemp, the Comedy Corner Underground presents Triple Feature, a monthly show inspired by comedy's Rule of Three.

Admittedly, great comedy threesomes are rarer than romantic threesomes, and usually twice as awkward, so rather than crowded onto an already intimate stage, you'll see three great comics take their turn in the spotlight, each performing feature-length sets. We won't even charge you extra, unless you bring a date.

It could take you a year, or even a lifetime, to catch these performers individually, so when we say this show represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, we're not exaggerating, much!

The comics:

Amarie Castillo - This vivacious, outspoken New Mexican will tell it to you straight. From what it's like to be five-foot-twelve and dating in New York to why her sports teams are better than yours, the themes of her stand-up acts appeal to both guys and gals. Alexandra Castillo, aka AMarie "Part Time Bro" has performed all over country and is based of NYC where she performs at Carolines, New York Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, and The Stand. AMARIE has worked with Howard Stern on Howard TV, and traveled with the Miserable Men on the East Coast for Ronnie's Block Party. Keep up with her weekly sports blog "Part Time Bro" at

Earl Elliot - Born and raised in Columbia, Maryland. Earl Elliot floated around the US of A throughout his twenties to finally land upon the Minneapolis comedy scene in 2012. At the bitter age of 28, Earl tends to focus on the contradictions within the society of his own soul while defending his lack of ability to grow a beard. Confident with insecurities and welcoming the wonders of self defensive silliness, Earl brings his black cloud of doubt (by black he doesn't mean race) , while searching for the rainbows within the precipitation of human behavior. Pretty much he doesn't only like white girls, and despises unlimited text messaging.

Ellie Hino & Casey Nelson - Both hilarious stand-ups in their own right, when this comedy duo (and happily married couple) takes the stage together their act, which combines stand-up and music, has audiences howling with laughter as they clap to the beat. Casey and Ellie are regulars on some of the best stages in the Twin Cities and Casey was the winner of the House of Comedy's Funniest Person with a Day Job competition in 2015.
