This class is an introduction to the practice of plant shamanism. In particular, the concept of working with the spiritual aspects and power of the plant realm. We will discuss the ways in which traditional healers and shamans have utilized plants to heal the body, mind and spirit. We will discuss some famous "power plants" and especially renown plants such as rosemary, peyote, sage, tobacco and the amanita muscaria mushroom. The class will conclude with a guided meditation to visit a plant spirit in order to help you develop your own practice of connecting with plants on a spiritual level.
