Young Musicians of Minnesota says
Since May of 2013, YMM has worked with and inspired some of the most talented young musicians in Minnesota. Modeled after many other youth orchestra programs in the state, YMM provides students with a college-level orchestral education, consisting of students ages 13-26. The YMM 2015 Summer Music Festival program is unique in that it is entirely student-led and operated, and allows its students to participate for a very small fee. Students receive the opportunity to work alongside the Musicians of the Minnesota Orchestra, as guest conductors and sectional coaches, in addition to many of them joining and performing side-by-side the YMM festival students in their Grand Finale Concert!

Performing Tchaikovsky's Capriccio Italien, Barber's Adagio for Strings, and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6, "Pathetique," audience members are bound to be amazed by this heart-wrenching program.

Concert is FREE and open to the public! Visit our website for more information: http://www.youngmusiciansofmn.org/concert.html

Join the Young Musicians of Minnesota in the Orchestra Hall lobby from 1:30-2:45pm prior to their concert to hear a showcase of student chamber ensembles, including:
