Join us for a three hour workshop in reading Tarot! If you’ve always wanted to feel confident with the symbols, meanings and metaphors in the cards — here’s your chance to get acquainted with the heavy hitters — the Major Arcana.
This workshop is one in a series of Tarot workshops / meet-ups we’ll be offering in the Fall / Winter schedule. Look for more upcoming Tarot classes and related make-and-take workshops this October!
The Major Arcana cards in the Tarot hold some of the most iconic images in Tarot and plenty of cryptic symbols, mesmerizing narratives, and signs for us to interpret. These are the cards that help us “level up,” gain insight and perspective, and help us determine what big areas of life we should focus on in order to better understand ourselves.
The workshop will focus on reading with the Major Arcana. We’ll discuss the story of the Fool’s journey — a narrative within the 22 cards of the Major Arcana, and how that journey relates to each one of us, and we’ll analyze each card in the Majors for the themes within. Participants will get a chance to familiarize themselves with the meanings of each, and see how each of the cards has parallels, sequences, and relationships with the others in the Majors suit.
We’ll also practice reading with a one-card and a couple of different three-card spreads in class, so participants can practice their new knowledge with others!

This class is open to beginners and beyond - anyone interested in discussing the symbols and stories within the Major Arcana should stop by!

Bring your deck or use one of ours!
Bring a notebook and writing utensil to take notes!
