Since July, POP Montreal has helped to revive Marché Des Possibles in the Mile End, and it currently occupies the warehouse skeleton of Entrepôt 77. There's been some live music and other shows, but this weekend promises its first dog fashion show: Fashion PUP.
Running from noon to 3 p.m. on August 14, the interesting part here is that Montrealers are encouraged to participate and sign themselves up to walk the runway with their best friend. There are prizes to be won for three different categories: Tricks, where a dog will wow the judges with a maximum of three tricks; Charm & Personality—for dogs lacking a wardrobe and choreography—who show the crowd how lovable and charismatic they can be; and Fashion, where a dog is presentedwith their most stylish look (human companion coordination is highly encouraged)!
After that, it'll be Tapette, a French house and disco-focused dance party from Toronto that will go down at the space from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. to help celebrate Fierté 2021! DJs, performers and artists will come together for the daytime dance. Tickets are sold out, however, but that doesn't mean you can't chill on the sidelines and watch people get freaky!
