From cocktails and mocktails to craft beer, wine and matcha, discover 5 refreshing summer drinks to try at Time Out Market Montréal.

From mocktails to cocktails, with a beer flight and glass of chilled white in between, here are the best summer sippers from the Market.
With 7 bars under one 40,000 square-foot roof, Time Out Market Montréal settles the age-old debate of "What do I want to drink?" every time.
The Market is home to Montreal’s first dedicated mocktail bar and exclusive zero-proof menu, along with a dedicated Beer Bar, two Wine Bars, a Cocktail Bar, and Soda Bar. There’s (literally) something for everyone.
(And don’t sleep on the Milk Bar—because honestly, there’s no wrong time for a milkshake.)
I selected five of my favourite refreshing drinks from the Market this summer, from mocktails to cocktails and everything in between—just another five reasons why Time Out Market Montréal is one of the best places to meet Downtown.

This summer, every cocktail on the menu pays tribute to a different Time Out Market, celebrating the flavours of its city. The Dubai charms with 3 Lacs Vodka, passion fruit cordial, saffron syrup, fresh lemon and silky egg white, topped with an aromatic bubble. The Osaka blends Nigori Sake, Rosemont Coconut Rum and Plum Wine with yuzu, sesame syrup, pineapple and fresh lemon for a smooth, refreshing sip. But our favourite is the Lisbon—a citrusy take on a New York sour, made with Baril Caché Whisky, Aperitivo Amermelade, Graham’s Port and Pastéis de Nata syrup, finished with fresh orange and lemon juices. It wins us over every time.
While many gravitate toward the refreshingly bold Eden Tropical—where non-alcoholic dry gin meets the tangy sweetness of passion fruit, a hint of vanilla and sparkling yuzu soda—we keep coming back to the Elixir des Moines. Herbaceous gin pairs with bright kalamansi syrup and a touch of absinthe syrup for subtle intrigue, while fresh grapefruit juice adds vibrant citrus and tarragon bitters deliver a crisp, aromatic finish. It's complex, refreshing and unlike anything else on the menu.
The Market’s Beer Bar is always a great spot thanks to a rotating lineup of Quebec craft brews and a curated selection of imports. Ask the bartender to build a flight of four so you can sip your way through different regional styles—we’re loving Dieu du Ciel’s Rosée Hibiscus and Dublin Câlin, and Pit Caribou’s Blonde de L’Anse and Bonne Aventure.
We can’t get enough of Kaya this summer—a fruity, mineral Sauvignon Blanc from South Africa, and the Rapaura Springs Reserve (a Pinot Noir from New Zealand Reserve that’s light enough for a summer evening). But our heart truly belongs to Domaine du Ridge, a local Quebec wine that combines the pear aromas of Vidal with the pineapple and peach notes of Seyval Blanc.
Tunnel Espresso is serving up more iced lattes than Montreal has construction cones, but the real summer standout is the Mango Matcha. This refreshing creation perfectly balances the earthy depth of matcha with the bright, tropical sweetness of mango. Ready to step outside your usual coffee order? Try the Espresso tonic pamplemousse, a surprisingly refreshing mix of chilled espresso and sparkling grapefruit tonic——one of those unexpected combinations that just makes sense once you’ve tried it. If you know, you know.
