The huge light village Illumi in Laval's been a big attraction since it first started, doing tens of thousands of light sculptures across dozens of thematic villages that Montrealers could explore on foot.
Now with the new red zone restrictions in the Greater Montreal area and the surrounding areas—including Laval—the attraction has been force to adapt: That's led to the creation of an all-new Halloween village that's up and running from October 9 to November 1.
As many as four to five visitors can now pile into cars for $30 before taxes and check out 20 million lights lighting up decorations and 30,000 sculptures spread out over 17 different thematic sections all around Halloween. T
hey've got it all, from monsters and witches to ghosts and thousands of pumpkins. You can order food from your car while visiting, and there are bathroom stops along the way; the whole trip should take about an hour and 15 minutes.
This year expansion is Illumi's biggest yet, as it's spread out over 1 million square feet of parking lots.
