When is the last time you got to see a live performance? Is Igloofest the last time you got to see performers in the flesh? Are you craving some live music?

If you’re nodding along to all of that—and, sadly, not to music—then we get you. We miss music too. It’s never been more important than now to show some love for all of Montreal’s amazing artists, so we’re making room for them at the market’s bar.

Every weekend, Montrealers are invited to check out who’s playing on Friday and Saturday evenings. With the new partitions on tables, regular sanitization and public health measures, this is a space where you can safely chill out and enjoy music while knocking back a couple cocktails, some curated glasses of wine or a flight of beers.

Drop in—or reserve a table for you and your friends if you want to make a night of it—and listen in on DJ sets or live jazz and soul bands as you dig into any one of restaurants and chefs’ offerings at the market and order up one of the new super-sized cocktails for $25: The Mai Tai from Mal Nécessaire, the Spritz Glacée from Le 132 Bar Vintage, and the Isla Mujeres from Le Royal. Split ‘em with friends or just keep one to yourself (we’ve seen you doing it, we don’t judge).

Here’s the schedule for weekends in August plus information on who’s playing that night!
