It’s official: Time Out Market is officially coming to Vancouver this spring—and it’s arriving hungry.

Designed for families, groups, and solo diners alike, the casual (but seriously impressive) food destination will become Western Canada’s first Time Out Market, bringing some of the city’s best chefs and cuisines together under one (very delicious) roof.

Back in November, Time Out Market Vancouver teased the first six names on its lineup.

Now, the next wave of local culinary heavyweights has been revealed—and it’s a feast.

Leading the charge is Chef Vikram Vij, whose celebrity-loved institution Vij’s on Cambie Street (recently ranked one of the coolest streets in the world) has been defining Vancouver’s Indian food scene since 1994. Chef Vij is launching a brand-new concept called Peacock, adding another must-try to the mix.

Pizza lovers are in luck, too. Via Tevere—run by brothers Dom and Frank Morra, and officially certified Vera Pizza Napoletana—is bringing its panini and traditional Neapolitan pies to the Market.

Japanese food fans can line up for Chef Akira Kishimoto, who’s opening a second location of his beloved, award-winning restaurant Kishimoto.

Meanwhile, newly opened taquería SANTO TACO is serving an elevated spin on Mexican street food, and Heritage Asian Eatery is expanding its modern Chinese BBQ with a brand-new outpost.

Got a sweet tooth? Mello will be baking its cult-favourite brioche donuts fresh every day, while Boba Run brings customizable bubble tea to keep things sweet, chewy, and refreshing.

These new additions join an already impressive lineup that includes Feenie’s by Chef Rob Feenie, Mee Bar by Chanthy Yen, Lunch Lady, MaKaam from Baan Lao, DownLow Chicken, and Barnacle by Bar Bravo.

Where is Time Out Market Vancouver?

Opening Spring 2026 at Oakridge Park, Time Out Market Vancouver will anchor one of the city’s most ambitious redevelopments. The massive project blends homes, retail, green space, offices, and cultural venues into one vibrant district.

Located at the intersection of West 41st Avenue and Cambie Street, the Market sits perfectly between downtown Vancouver and YVR Airport along the Canada Line. In other words: dangerously easy to get to.

What makes Time Out Market Vancouver so special?

Spanning 51,000 square feet, the Market is a full-scale foodie playground. Expect 18 kitchens, a dessert bar, a coffee shop, three full bars, and multiple event spaces—all wrapped around open kitchens that put chefs front and centre.

With close to 1,000 seats and a spacious outdoor terrace overlooking a public park, there’s plenty of room to snack, sip, and linger. Communal tables keep the energy high, while a year-round cultural program ensures there’s always something happening beyond the plate.

What is Time Out Market?

Time Out Market is the world's first food and cultural market curated by local experts to bring the best of the city together under one roof. In 2014, a historic market building in Lisbon was turned into the first Time Out Market. Today, there are more than 10 Markets globally in cities including New YorkMontrealBostonDubaiCape Town and Osaka, with more to come – the execution of each is distinctly local to give a true taste of the city it is in. The Vancouver location marks the second Time Out Market in Canada.
