Montreal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport is cautioning travellers about disruptions as dismantling work triggers closures on roads leading to the terminal.

Montreal's Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport has issued a warning to travellers this week.
Dismantling work of the multi-level parking is causing closures on the road network leading to the terminal.
The arrivals drop-off area will be closed during certain times, and traffic will be redirected to the departures drop-off area.

The YUL arrivals drop-off area is closed daily from 6 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. until May 1, 2026.
Time Out Tip: Arrive at least 3 hours before your flight due to expected congestion.
All traffic will be redirected to the departures level.
Passengers are advised to consider P4/P10 express drop-off zones with free shuttles.

While ongoing demolition work on the airport’s multi-level parking structure is behind this week’s closures—and it’s far from the first disruption.
Travellers were already warned during March Break to brace for a busy spring season amid major construction.
Traffic around Montreal’s airport has been a growing source of frustration in recent years as it undergoes a sweeping $10-billion transformation over the next decade.
