A seasonal songwriter show, in Nashville, Tennessee, celebrating artists, songwriters and women in music.

Change The Conversation panel (hosted by CMT’s Leslie Framm and Rounder Records’ Tracy Gershon): 6:30-7:30pm

Change the Conversation is the ongoing discussion about why female artists have long faced a significantly more difficult struggle than male artists in country music. Change the Conversation has quickly caught on since it began in late 2014 as a discussion among the group’s three well-credentialed founders: CMT senior vp music strategy Leslie Fram, who founded the network’s successful Next Women of Country franchise; artist manager and Rounder Records vp A&R Tracy Gershon; and Middle Tennessee State University recording industry department chair and The Tennessean columnist Beverly Keel.

Vince Gill once described her voice as a mix of Patty Griffin and Dolly Parton. Heather Morgan is a singer/songwriter from Richardson, TX. She began writing songs at the age of five and loved listening to her mother's vinyl records.

Undoubtedly when it comes to crafting lyrical brilliance and unforgettable melodies, Maggie Chapman is in no short supply. That's exactly what you hear when you listen to Maggie's debut record, Vignette, which speaks cover to cover with bold confessions, rousing anthems and heartbreaking ballads.
