Dance For Dongo

Time Out says

Pastor Bethuel Dongo is the key founder of Buyamba Uganda, a nonprofit helping orphaned children in Uganda receive an education. I met him nine years ago when I went to Uganda for the first time, and I had never met a human being with more joy and love in his heart. He was constantly thinking of others and asking people questions making them feel special and important. Pastor Dongo has been like a second dad to me for the majority of my life now, and there are thousands of children who could say the exact same thing. He is truly an angel on earth considering he has spent his entire existence serving, loving and helping others in need. Now, it is our turn to help him. Pastor Dongo has been diagnosed with cancer and this particular cancer is very aggressive in nature, and it has become apparent to the doctors that he needs to undergo a bone marrow transplant procedure now. In order for him to remain healthy, this surgery is necessary, and the cost is steep. What is needed this month for a bone marrow transplant in early March is approximately $250,000. These costs are completely out of the nonprofits reach to meet right now, but we recognize that God is a God of the impossible, and no number is too big for Him. This is why I am asking all of YOU for help with this one! Dancing for Dongo will be held at Lipscomb University in the main gym on MARCH 11th from 7-8:30pm! We are going to dance the night away to raise money for a man who has danced his way into the hearts of thousands. Please join us for two hours of an amazing dance workout/ zumba class that will be led by myself, Ashley King, Annie Bosko, and Tamara Ware! It will be $15 at the door and $10 for Lipscomb students. Spread the word, invite your friends, and lets make this an event to remember raising money for an incredible man! Click here to donate right now! http://www.ugandabuyamba.com
