"Food Chains" Comes to Nashville!
Come to West End United Methodist on the evening of Feb 18th to the Tennessee premiere of "Food Chains," a critically-acclaimed new documentary film (from the producers of Food Inc. and Fast Food Nation) about the groundbreaking Fair Food Program created by the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW), a group of thousands of tomato-pickers in Southwest Florida.
Learn how farmworkers came together to design the most successful corporate responsibility program in US agriculture, and how we can be involved here in Nashville!
Donations accepted! All funds raised will help allies get to Florida on March 21st for the CIW's Spring March.
6 PM: Film will be screened in the 4th-floor theater at West End UMC
