Book: "Be Love Now"
By: Ram Das
Facilitator: Jenna Wolf

A little about the book:

Ram Dass’s, Be Love Now is the transformational teaching of a forty year journey to the heart. In this vivid, often mind-blowing blend of spiritual memoir and teaching stories, written with his fellow devotee, Rameshwar Das, Ram Dass tells the story of how he met his guru Maharaj-ji and his baffling powers; candidly describes the tensions within the Satsang, or “community of seekers” ; and explains his arduous “inner work” through the practice of yoga, and chanting mantras. Through his own experience, he graciously reminds us that beneath all the complex layers of our life, there is the spiritual essence. The unconditional love that Maharaj-ji channeled, the love that Ram Dass seeks to share with others, the love that exists inside of you, right now. Love that “is like sunshine, a natural force, a completion of what is, a bliss that permeates every particle of existence.”

Like Deepak Chopra’s Book of Secrets, the Dalai Lama’s Art of Happiness, and Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Coming to Our Senses, Ram Dass’s Be Love Now will serve as a lantern for anyone seeking to enhance their spiritual awareness and improve their capacity to serve—and love—the world around them.

A Little About the "SatSang" -

A satsang is a gathering of seekers of truth. In this monthly book club meeting, we will sharpen our mind, body, and connection to spirit by reading and discussing books on spirituality. By learning about central elements of spirituality, we can help cultivate the witness within. Through your inner witness, you can elevate your practice, both on the mat and off the mat, to new heights. Each month, we will also collect donations for a charity to be announced in advance of meeting. We look forward to fun discussions and forming a satsang
