Dyngus Day NOLA says
Dyngus Day NOLA is proud to welcome both Debauche and the G-string Orchestra back to perform for us for Dyngus Day 2016, on Monday, March 28th. This year will have a small cover of $5, with the same delicious food by Siberia's Kukhnya.

Doors Open at 6pm with the festivities ramping up at 7pm.

G-string opens the performances at 7:30 pm

Debauche goes on stage at 9, or soon hereafter.

“Dyngus Day is the holiday for people who are disappointed to
think that the spirit animating Mardi Gras lives only once a year.”

Dyngus Day is a near-manic lust for celebration, the explosion of excess and sin the first day of relent from austerity and fast; it is the adverse, Polish mirror-image of the immediately pre-Lenten Mardi Gras, with a very kindred spirit. This March 28th, the Monday after Easter 2016, is the third annual Dyngus Day NOLA celebration, at the Siberia Bar, 2227 St. Claude at the corner of Elysian Fields and Marigny.
