The event creator says
This event is one of the largest, free music festivals. Vicki & I have perfected a day trip agenda to the French Quarter. One can safely park your Roadtrek or Class B RV in the historic "Garden District" neighborhood for FREE. Walk one block to the Charles Street Trolley line then catch a street car into the French Quarter for $1.25.

Jazz & Zydeco music is everywhere! Numerous city sponsored stages and food booths are set up in and around Jackson Square. Loads of Naw'lins and Cajun food booths as well as nearby Big Easy restaurants and cafes.

Starts Thursday, April 9th through Sunday. We recommend the state park listed below. One can take camping chairs on street cars, set them up in Jackson Square, sit back & enjoy music & food from every corner.

The SP noted below is north and across Lake Ponchartrain. It would require a trek across the causeway bridge (toll) to arrive in the Big Easy. Thursday and Friday are the least crowed days of course.
