Join us at the Ogden Museum Southern Art to mark the opening of States of Incarceration. A project of the New School for Social
Research’s Humanities Action Lab, States of Incarceration: A National Dialogue of Local Histories is the first national traveling
multi-media exhibition and coordinated public dialogue to explore the history and future of mass incarceration in the United States. In partnership with Ogden After Hours, the opening will feature the music of Tuba Skinny, food, and a cash bar. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Along with the Ogden Museum, The Midlo Center for New Orleans Studies and UNO's History department are local sponsors of this event. The exhibit comes to New Orleans thanks to generous funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Mellon Foundation.
