Rolling Along Productions presents the first annual “Roots Reggae Culture Festival”. This event is scheduled for June 18, 2016 at Tad Gormley Stadium in New Orleans, LA. After recognizing a void in one of the premier convention and festival destinations in the country, five very experienced fans of Reggae music and Caribbean culture, came together to bring back the very much missed “Reggae Festival” to New Orleans and surrounding areas. We invite all lovers of peace, spirituality, respect, unity and upliftment to come enjoy the sights, sounds, tastes and smells that is Caribbean culture. This will be an experience, both for veterans and newbies. Although headliners and great artists are seen as the driving force and are undoubtedly a huge part of a successful festival, we were focused on giving proper attention to the accompanying attractions that we see as equally important. We find it important to bring culturally authentic food, crafts and entertainment in order to properly represent this widely celebrated and influential group. We are confident that all guests will enjoy what we have worked hard to put together for our fellow lovers of this culture. Come out and travel to the islands with us. This trip requires no vacation time and is cheaper than a plane ticket. Never been to the islands? We plan to make you plan your next vacation. We bring you New Orleans only reggae event on this scale, the Reggae Fest we wanted to attend. Roots, Reggae and Culture all in one.
