See our screening page for more details:

Film synopsis: Filmmaker Robert Greene encounters actress Brandy Burre (THE WIRE) as she transitions from a stay-at-home mom back into acting. As Burre attempts to re-enter the acting world, the cozy domestic life that she had embraced begins to crumble. An affair leads to the breakup with the father of her children, and both age and her time away from acting prove to be hurdles for Burre in her attempts to find work. Playfully revealing her vulnerabilities while manipulating those in her life (including the film’s viewers), Burre is captivating to watch, and yet is a seemingly unreliable narrator of her own life. Greene’s cinema verite-meets-melodrama style probes Burre’s relationship to herself, her life, and performance.
