Welcome to The 8! A functional cross-training class specifically designed to build the strength and endurance you need to take your physical yoga practice to the next level. Ever felt like you'll never have the arm strength to perform Chaturanga well? This class is for you! Ever thought, "I need to increase my core strength?" This class is for you! Would you like to sink lower in Warrior II pose? This class is for you! Do you just want to sweat and burn calories? This class is for you!

The 8 focuses on eight SKILLFUL areas of training, for periods of eight minutes each. They include:
- Breathing and warmups
- Arm, shoulder & scapular stability
- Core/ab work
- Leg strength
- Twisting & wringing out
- Dynamic balancing
- Folding skills
- Cool down/Stretching

The 8 is a functional fitness class designed to prepare your body (PREHAB) to ward off injury, build strength and take your physical practice to a whole new level.

All levels and abilities are welcome. Instructors modify poses for your ability level. No equipment or experience is required. All you need is the will to come. We will do the rest!
