Late summer is always a good time to bag a travel bargain, and this week two popular British budget airlines have launched whopper sales, with cheap flights across Europe on offer.
easyJet and Wizz Air have both launched shed loads of savings on flights, as well as some offers on hotels and holiday packages – but you’ll need to act fast to grab the best prices.
First up, easyJet’s ‘Big Orange Sale’ is promising some pretty juicy offers. The discounts will be available for a week, until Tuesday 12 September, and will apply automatically with the code SALE to all qualifying flights and holidays.
EasyJet flights to European spots like Lyon and Milan are on offer for less than £15, and domestic UK flights, including trips to various Scottish destinations, such as Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness, are on offer for less than £20 – although if you can afford it, plenty of these destinations are almost as quick, and a lot easier, to get to by train.
EasyJet’s package holidays are also reduced by up to £200, so if you’re organised, you could rinse the opportunity for a budget-friendly break.
In an even snappier sale announcement, Wizz Air’s offers are only available for 48 hours. In fact, the 20 percent discount on selected flights is only valid until one minute to midnight tonight: Tuesday September 5.
Flights included in this offer, which is a celebration of the aviation company’s 20 years in operation, must depart between September 15 2023 and March 21 2024 from a selection of major UK airports: Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford or London’s Gatwick or Luton.
