The first wave of the Glastonbury line-up has finally dropped and you may have had some thoughts. A far cry from 2023’s all-male line-up, this year you’ll see Dua Lipa and SZA take to the Pyramid stage, as well as Coldplay and Shania Twain. A load of other acts have also been announced and the full line-up will be confirmed in May. Before you know it, June will be here, and you’ll be singing along to ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’, ice-cold beer in hand.

When is Glastonbury 2024?

Glastonbury 2024 starts on Wednesday June 26 and runs until Sunday June 30. Most of the music will be on June 28, 29 and 30, so if you’re not lucky enough to be heading to Worthy Farm IRL and you’re watching on the TV instead, those are the dates to pencil in your calendar.

What’s the lineup this year?

Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA will headline this year’s Glastonbury Festival and Shania Twain will take the Legends Slot. Little Simz, Burna Boy, K-pop boyband Seventeen, Idles, Disclosure, The National, Avril Lavigne, Cyndi Lauper, Olivia Dean, Anne-Marie, The Last Dinner Party and Camila Cabello will also be playing. The full line-up will be confirmed in May.

How much are Glastonbury tickets?

Tickets for Glastonbury 2024 are £360 — that’s £355, plus a £5 booking fee (and coach fees, if applicable). It’s an increase of £20 from the 2023 event, which cost £335 plus booking fee.

Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis put out a statement to justify the hike in 2023, saying: ‘We have tried very hard to minimise the increase in price on the ticket but we’re facing enormous rises in the costs of running this vast show, while still recovering from the huge financial impact of two years without a festival because of Covid.’

When do 2024 tickets go on sale?

They’ve been and gone, we’re sorry to say. Tickets went on sale on Sunday, November 19, and coach ticket packages went on sale on November 16.

When is the Glastonbury ticket resale?

The ticket resale has also been and gone: it took place on April 18 for coach packages and April 21 for general admission. There’s always next year, eh?

How many Glastonbury tickets can you buy in the resale?

The coach package resale was limited to two tickets per transaction, while general admission resale was limited to four tickets per transaction.

How can I watch Glastonbury 2024 at home?

If you’re not prepared to be trudging through Worthy Farm’s hallowed mud in June, much of the festival (as ever) will be available to watch and listen to. The BBC will be broadcasting a ton of stuff across TV, radio, BBC Sounds, BBC iPlayer and online.
