What are you doing for breakfast on Tuesday, July 13? Ditch the Raisin Bran and pass the syrup caddy, because IHOP is celebrating its 63rd birthday with a deep dining discount. To commemorate its founding year (1958, as the history books will tell you), the pancake house is dishing out 58-cent short stacks. That's three syrup-laden buttermilk pancakes for spare change.

These days, the iconic quick-service breakfast restaurant boasts hundreds of locations scattered across the US, but brothers Al and Jerry Lapin started it all back in the late ’50s with just one outpost in Toluca Lake, California. They shared an admirable dream of creating a dining concept that revolved entirely around pancakes. Spoiler alert: It worked.

Ready to cash in on 58-cent short stacks at IHOP? The deal is good at all participating locations in the US on Tuesday, July 13 from 7am to 7pm (breakfast for dinner, anyone?). And no, there aren't any strings attached and you don't have to make a purchase to qualify for the deal – so go ahead and toss in a side of bacon while you're at it.
