No, it’s not pee: you can bathe in actual champagne at this hotel in the UK

It sounds like the self-care routine of an eccentric Hollywood starlet. Now it can be yours

Okay, so it might look a bit like wee, but maybe we’re not fancy enough to know luxury when we see it.

This pampering experience at the five-star Dial House Hotel, in England’s East Anglia, takes spa days to the extreme. Exhibit A: a literal bath of champagne, which sounds like the self-care routine of an eccentric Hollywood starlet. Now it can be yours.

Here’s how it works. You book into the hotel for the night, and then luxuriate in the roll-top, champagne-filled bath for as long as you need. Of course, there’s champagne to drink, plus some chocolate covered strawberries. Indulgent, eh?

The bubbles of the, er, bubbly are dusted in gold leaf – naturally. Then once you’re done soaking, there’s a 24K gold facial for two, and dinner in the on-site restaurant. In the morning, you can enjoy breakfast in bed, which comes served on a gold tray (just in case the stay wasn’t glitzy enough already).

All this isn’t just for the ’gram. Apparently, champagne has detoxifying properties, meaning your skin should be glowing after a dip in the Moët. And Red Letter Days’ in-house skin expert also claims the face treatment can reduce acne – so throw out the Clearasil and replace it with gold, we guess.

If you’re ready to commit to the ultimate beauty routine, you can book the champagne getaway via Red Letter Days. As for us? We’re very, very ready.
