1. Zootopia 2 (Disney+)

The first Zootopia was an uncommonly clever and slyly subversive kiddie flick with a potent anti-xenophobic message. Maybe it’s just coincidence that the sequel dropped in 2025, when that message could bear repeating, but it was clearly welcome – the movie made over $1 billion at the global box office, becoming the second highest-grossing animated film of all-time. Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman are back voicing the mismatched bunny and fox cop duo, this time tracking a villainous snake (voiced by Ke Huy Quan) through a swampy bayou. Parents, prepare to watch this on an endless loop for the foreseeable future. Read Time Out’s review.

2. Now You See Me: Now You Don't (Starz)

Somehow, it took three whole movies about magicians pulling heists to use that title construction. In the third instalment of this inexplicably popular franchise, the gang of illusionists known as the Four Horsemen ride again, teaming with a younger gang of thieves to steal a rare diamond from an evil South African billionaire, played by a scenery-chewing Rosamund Pike, whose accent alone is worth the price of admission. 3. Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere (Netflix)

British pop documentarian Louis Theroux takes one for the team in the name of journalism, spending more time than is healthy with the wannabe Andrew Tates whose influence over young males is sadly too strong to ignore. Pair with Adolescence if you really want to feel depressed about the state of masculinity in the social media age.

4. Bodycam (Shudder)

Well, it was only a matter of time before police body cameras became the basis for a found-footage horror film. In this Shudder original, two cops responding to a domestic dispute ‘accidentally’ shoot and kill a civilian, and in their attempt to cover up the incident discover something even more sinister afoot.

5. Harry Styles: One Night in Manchester (Netflix)

The ex-One Directioner premieres his upcoming new album, the annoyingly punctuated Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally, for an adoring, and surely nonstop screaming audience at the Co-Op Live Arena in his hometown of Manchester.
