Some people eat in times of crisis, and other people bake. Based on what we’ve seen on the internet in the last few days, lots of you fall into the latter camp. You stressed, intrepid, creative pastry wizards have really found a way to make this whole quarantine thing more entertaining with your clever cakes. And, dare we say, more delicious?

We’ve seen all kinds of creations from bakers around the world. You have the toilet paper cakes, en edible confirmation that double-ply is the new global currency. And the elaborate confections, like the Lysol bottle we’re not sure whether to spritz or slice into. Or the truly hysterical ones whose funny, off-color messages make us laugh so hard we briefly forget what’s going on and find some humor in the whole thing.

The ones with daily reminders
