While you might know it for its viral dancing and swish cooking tutorials, TikTok has some pretty great travel inspo, too. From whistlestop guides to ‘did you knows’ about wonders of the world, it’s an excellent medium for getting you in the mood for some serious jet-setting.

If you’ve ever seen TikTok’s travel content, you’ll know that some places tend to get featured more than others. It’s usually the really iconic and/or visually spectacular ones that pop up the most. And now, by collecting data about location tags and cross-referencing that info with TripAdvisor reviews, a study from travel website Next Vacay has figured which attractions really are the ‘biggest on TikTok’.

And top of the pile is… Disney World Orlando. Seeming to confirm suspicions that most users of TikTok are, in fact, teenagers, Disney’s flagship Floridian theme park and resort has raked in a whopping 8.6 billion views on the platform.

Next up comes the Burj Khalifa in Dubai with 1.9 billion views, which is no wonder really. It’s the world’s tallest skyscraper – how could you go there and not make a TikTok to show off to your mates? Third in the list with 719 million views is the Eiffel Tower – because let’s be honest, sights don’t really get much more picturesque or iconic than Paris’s iron lady.

Want to see the full list? Here are the ten most viewed tourist attractions on TikTok, according to Next Vacay:

1. Disney World Orlando, USA (8.6 billion views)

2. Burj Khalifa, UAE (1.9 billion)

3. Eiffel Tower, France (719 million)

4. Taj Mahal, India (377 million)

5. Grand Canyon, USA (273 million)

6. Las Vegas Strip, USA (259 million)

7. Golden Gate Bridge, USA (118 million)

8. Hoover Dam, USA (79 million)

9. Yosemite National Park, USA (59 million)

10. Stonehenge, UK (52 million)

Now discover the most picturesque destinations in the world (according to TikTok).

And these are officially the most Instagrammable beaches in Europe.
