From Mexico to Budapest, these are the most panoramic places to spend the night
Picking a hotel is a pretty personal choice, full of personal preferences. Maybe you’re all about convenience, or want the comfiest bedsheets possible. But for lots of people (us included!) nothing beats an incredible view from your room.
If that is how you plan your trips, you’re in luck. A new ranking from tourism site HawaiianIslands.com has done all the legwork, scouring TripAdvisor to work out the locations most often described as having ‘beautiful views’.
The number one place to head to? That’d be Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Golf and Spa Resort, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Sure, it’s posh and golf sucks (don’t @ us), but every single one of its luxury premium suites overlooks the shimmering Pacific Ocean. If you want to get even closer, there’s also a private beach.
If you’re looking for something in North America, second place on the list is Wynn Las Vegas, with eye-popping views of the Vegas strip. Or you could head to the Fairmont Chateau in Lake Louise, Canada, which looks right out on to the Rocky Mountains. Pretty incredible stuff.
Three hotels from Europe make the list. Two are the luxurious Rome Cavalieri and the Hilton Budapest, each smack dab in the centre of a historic European capital, so you can feel extremely cosmopolitan just by looking out of the window. Ones to consider when planning that special getaway.
Here are the top ten hotels with the most beautiful views in the world, according to this ranking…
