Magic Barbès Festival

Between March 29 and April 3, the Magic Barbès festival returns to the Goutte d’Or neighbourhood. The festival brings art, culture, history and more to eclectic locales around the 18th arrondissement, from the Olympic Café to the Saint-Bernard church. The theme for the 8th edition of the festival is ‘Poetic Constellation’ and the line-up features affordable cultural activities for all ages, including a lyrical performance of stories from One Thousand and One Nights and a literary guided tour of the area. What’s more, several of the events are free, making the festival a great way to delve into the culture of one of Paris’s most diverse but lesser-known neighbourhoods.
