Brahms, Bartók, Dvorak, Bizet

These four composers, sprung from four different countries, have in common a flair for blending together elements of ‘elite’ classical music and the ‘vulgar’ folk songs of their homeland. This fusion of styles therefore constitutes the unifying theme of this eclectic programme, brought to you by a local youth orchestra.
