A stage show from Le Rire Médecin, an association that sends clowns into hospitals to cheer up sick children, the delicate matieral of ‘Histoires de clowns à l’hôpital’ is brilliantly handled to produce a patchwork of scenes that are alternately funny and moving.
The set design is brilliant, and the five actors juggle music, mime, poetry and dance to create the roles of doctors, nurses, children, parents and clowns with fluidity and rare skill. Also look out for the show touring France in 2013.
