This lively bar/club on the Rue Amelot is in perfect harmony with the elements. An orange bar (fire), grassy walls (earth), glowing bubble panels (water) and a starry smoking area (wind) welcome electro clubbers to dance beneath loud red and green lighting all through the week.
Temporary art or photography exhibitions are on display in the main space, which boasts a DJ booth, a monster sound system, a dance floor and 3D projection mapping system. The bar offers a selection of shots, creative cocktails and snacks, and happy hour gets you €4 pints (until 9pm on Wednesdays).
The bar leads to a grassy chill-out room with large benches to lounge on, and is equipped with screens showing the DJs in action in the next room, so you can take a breather without losing the vibe. Under the benches, a free locker system – a good idea until you gorge on rum and lychee cocktails, forget your code, and pay a tenner to get your stuff back.
4 Elements is an original space, although it tries a little too hard to impress. Minimalist techno fans will no doubt enjoy the DJ lineup. Keeps going until 4am on weekends.
