Erik Kaiel - Tetris

Remember the many hours you spent playing Tetris? And all evenings dedicated to fitting little shapes together ? A true tribute to the video game, choreographer Erik Kaiel’s ‘Tetris’ is intended for younger audiences but will not fail to stir nostalgia in Generation Y too. On stage, four blocks of rectangles and squares are replaced by four dancers, who, just as in the game, must bend to the will of gravity and angles. The choreography is ingenious and playful, with dancer-acrobats lining up, curling up, sliding and gliding through the game.
