Look past his unassuming name and you'll discover one of the most creative, original chansonniers at work in France today. Christophe has tried his deft hand at many styles over his lenghty career, from gorgeous love songs ('Aline', 'Les Mots bleus') to his electro-pop experiments of the '00s. This tour serves as a sort of summary of his 50 years in the business, a jaunt through his back catalogue pared down to the man, his piano and his guitar. Yet Christophe is not one to rest on his laurels, and we've seen him toss rarities and new tracks in among the hits – so expect surprises at the Théâtre Antoine on April 7.
