Fatoumata Diawara

A rising star on the world music scene, Paris-based Diawara has used her early career as backing singer to Malian great Oumou Sangare to her benefit - with latest album 'Fatou' picked up by the World Circuit label and featuring Tony Allen, Toumani Diabaté and Led Zep's John Paul Jones amongst others.
