In partnership with Taste of Paris
We’re close to the finish line. From May 9th to the 12th, the gastronomy festival Taste of Paris is making his comeback with his 5th edition. You only have a couple of days still to enjoy this incredible lineup, between simmered dishes prepared on site during the event, culinary courses & a handful of activities inside the Grand Palais. To make sure that you won’t miss one of the most important event of Spring, here is a small glimpse of what you’ll find in some of our favorites stands (between 6 & 12€).
On the menu side, as always with Taste of Paris, everything looks appealing. Logically, amongst the stands that will attract a large crowd, the starred tables will have a huge success. We’re advising you to make a stop at Kei, where the chef, Kei Kobayashi will prepare a wagyu beef burger accompanied by his famous teriyaki sauce & with a pinch of spice on top of it. We’re recommending also to head to Andréas Mavrommatis’s table, the only greek starred chef outside of his Greece, who will delight you with his grilled octopus, served with a cucumber soup, some grilled feta cheese & sprinkled with mint.
As for the hidden nugget, you’ll find our favorite stand run by Mohammad Elkhaldy, Refugee Food Festival chefs. He will cook up some sea brass from Brittany (the French one, not our favorite European island) with some roasted pistachios & asparagus. On top of that, he’ll add an incredible apple seasoning, his homemade za’atar spice & some lemon caviar. With all of that, I don’t know if you’re already hungry but we are!
What is good with Taste of Paris is that to complement all those amazing dishes, you’ll only need to do a little walk to enter the dessert galaxy. Between Phillipe Conticini & his pure vanilla pebble, the smoky seasonal fruit salad from Pierre Sang, the lemon tart revisited by Frederic Anton from Pré Catelan, or even the Cappucc'Ida by Denny Imbroisi, we’re sure you’ll find something that will keep you explore the venue. That’s it for the appetizer, the rest takes place from May 9 to 12 under the Grand Palais aisles.
