Marcie Turney is hosting a Sunday night supper club upstairs at Barbuzzo

Midtown Village restaurant moguls Chef Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran are transforming their gorgeous second-level private event space above Barbuzzo into a one-night-only supper club on Sunday, October 15.

Inspired by the 1996 movie Big Night, Turney is whipping up a massive four-course Italian-style menu that will be served family-style to guests. The night starts with a spread of antipasta, a shaved brussels sprouts salad, garlic bread and more. For the entree, you can choose from a selection that includes grilled bronzino, chicken parmigiano and pork chop marsala. And yes, the dessert menu includes Turney and Safran’s Philly-famous salted-caramel budino. 

On top of the food, the night will be punctuated by the vocal stylings of local singer Karen Gross. She’s debuting a brand new comedic cabaret that promises “iconic and unexpected songs… with a side of playful, sassy humor.”

The whole shebang begins at 6pm, and tickets are going for $75 per person. That includes dinner and the show, but beverage, tax and gratuity is extra. To grab your tickets—which are sure to sell out fast—go here. Check out the full menu below.
