The best things to do in Philadelphia this weekend

Mid-September marks the return of beloved markets, festivals, cultural fun and more of Philly's best weekend events

The Philadelphia Eagles picked up a win in Brazil last week, so September is already looking up. Even better: Warm-weather temperatures are sticking around a bit longer, a perfect excuse to walk the city’s streets and take in all it has to offer.

On the calendar is a pizza collaboration between a beloved Fishtown restaurant and a New York City chef, the launch of the fall theater season, flea markets and the annual outdoor fall festival in Chestnut Hill. Want to try a new hobby? How about hitting up a Philly restaurant for an empanada cooking class with an Argentine chef, practicing yoga among historical buildings, or scoring a clay-making tutorial? Pop-ups, special events and other surprises are all happening this weekend.

Below, the best things to do in Philly this weekend.
