Come On Down For Another Wednesday Evening With Scott Jeffers At The Dubliner Folks!! says
Ever wonder what Scott Jeffers plays every week at the Dubliner?? This is the only time that he plays, that there is a tip jar out which means that he will play covers at times depending on what sort of mood he’s in. If he’s silly he’ll make you laugh until your face hurts.. Or perhaps he’s somber and plays love songs all night.. Or there’s the night when he pulls up a guest and surprises us all with an incredible jam. I've seen jaw harp solos, songs about pinky toes, lilly pads.. you name it! So, you never know who to expect or what to expect on these nights but to be sure the Dubliner is a show that should be experienced by everyone who is interested in the who's who and what's what in the Valley of the Sun in 2015.

In the end, the Dubliner is a workshop of sorts where there is much discussion about the history of music as a culture of music in our country and in the world as a whole. There is amazing music out there both old and new and Scott Jeffers opens up a sort of pandoras box where anything goes.. including mixing artists and songs.. a Neil Diamond song to Black Sabbath lyrics for example.

In addition, you never know what he’s going to play because he doesn’t go by a set list. Scott Jeffers has always been a master at reading a crowd and playing them, literally, but through the years his skills have become ever more sharpened. Life needs a balance like everything else. Exercise helps the mind stay sharp, focused and staves off depression as does good food. Music however has it’s own benefits which are also similar. When Scott Jeffers does covers he has a way of taking you back to what it might have been like when the original artist sang it. It always sounds brand new!

So, come on down and become a part of what has started to feel like some like a family at the Dub. Cheers!
