The Torch Theatre says
The Improvised Book Club is an ensemble of some of Phoenix's best improvisers. Each month they will read a different book and then bring it to the stage for discussion. They will talk about themes, symbolism, author's writing style and more and then create completely made up scenes about the material. Have a book report due or just forgot to read the book for your own book club? Let The Improvised Book Club do the work for you while you look like a literary genius to your friends and teachers.

This month we celebrate National Poetry Month. We welcome three local poets to the stage to read their original work that the improvisers will use for inspiration. Our guests this month are: TBA

November 28th – Mother Night by Kurt Vonnegut
December 26th – Various children’s books

Parking is available in front of or behind 4721 (please avoid church parking), as well as easy access via light rail! The Camelback/Central stop is your best bet!

SEATING IS LIMITED. Get your tickets early & get to the theater early! At 5 minutes before the show, unclaimed tickets are released to any customers on the waiting list.
