"Songs That My Friends Played"

Music is often about being experienced and prepared and in the right place at the right time when called upon to perform. In a career spanning over 50 years, Mike Crotty has indeed been all of that and more. Either performing with or writing for many of the great jazz artists of our times, Mike has shared his love of music with some legendary musicians, including Clark Terry, Dizzy Gillespie, Tom Harrell, Bob Berg, Gerry Neiwood and Billy Taylor, as well as vocalists Tony Bennett, Mel Torme, Mark Murphy and Joe Williams. On April 30, the music they performed will take center stage along with any number of stories and anecdotes that Mike promises to share about his experiences with these extraordinary musicians.

Please join him, along with Nick Manson on piano, Dwight Kilian on bass and Dom Moio on drums for an evening full of memories and timeless music. Plus, for a special treat, the very young and promising guitarist, Jesse Sumter, will join them for a few selections as they share with the next generation.
