Please join Treeo for our artist's reception on Friday, March 6 from 6 - 9 PM to celebrate Palette of the Heart - A Solo Exhibition with Artist Jim Covarrubias. Jim will be on the patio live painting and joined by the talented musician Adam Esrick. We'll also be open for Art Detour this Saturday & Sunday from 10 AM - 4 PM. 'Palette of the Heart' pays homage to Miguel and Rosa Covarrubius (artist Jim Covarrubias' Great Uncle & Aunt on his Father's side) as well as Frida Kahlo who was a lifelong friend to the couple. Many of the works are new, and also include several other paintings from Jim's travels. Jim will be live painting at our hosted reception. The exhibit will run through April 10 with First Friday and Art Detour exhibit hours. Artist Bio: Mr. Covarrubias is a native Arizonan who grew up in Kingman, Arizona in the beautiful Hualapai Mountains. There were Mexican artists in his lineage, so his love of the arts was nurtured as was the fascination for the Western cowboy and Native-American history. Jim's full bio can be read at: http://www.treeohouse.com/current-art-exhibit.html
