Taking Flight...

The theme for this season, She Began to Fly, reflects many new beginnings. We continue to celebrate our Artistic Director (Livia Gho), venue (Church of the Beatitudes), Priceless Tickets, and now an updated Mission Statement:

"Cherishing our Lesbian heritage, Phoenix Women’s Chorus is a nurturing sisterhood, providing diverse choral programs, empowering all women, embracing inclusivity, and educating our communities through the universal language of music."

Join us as we celebrate our rebirth, and watch us 'Take Flight' as we share our experiences through song with guest musicians Samantha Yim on flute, Rachel Peterman on violin, Wei Shen on cello, and William Gilliard on percussion. The performances will include selections such as Quite Regularly Gay (Szymko), Georgia On My Mind (Carmichael & Gorrell), and the world premier of a new commission titled Nushu Sisterhood by Livia Gho with lyrics by Sue Kinsman-Barnes.
