Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix says
The Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix invites you to the 7th Annual Ikebana Exhibit, sponsored by The Sogetsu Ikebana Study Group.

Ikebana, also known as the ‘way of flowers,’ is the art of Japanese flower arrangement and is subtle, sensitive, sophisticated, and meditative. It utilizes flowers, leaves, and branches, as well as unexpected, unconventional materials.
An exquisite display of Ikebana arrangements will be exhibited throughout the garden, designed by talented Sogetsu Ikebana artists, teachers, and students. The annual Ikebana Exhibit has become a destination event the last couple of years. Activities this year are artist led tours, an arranging live presentation, demonstrations, hands-on experiences, and a reception with beautiful music.

On Saturday at 11:00am, a new program "FLOWER POWER Ikebana" will be directed by CarolBrecker. Experience the power of ikebana to relax, rejuvenate, and bring profound joy. Watch a large ikebana structure unfold before your eyes in our lovely Japanese Friendship Garden.

Enjoy beautiful art creations that embellish the serenity of the strolling Japanese garden in the middle of downtown Phoenix.
